However, few days back, Google came up with an advanced social networking website called as Google+, which it feels would provide strong competition to Facebook and other social networking websites. One of the strongest weaknesses of Facebook is its privacy policy which was attacked in many occasions for being confusing and self-serving.

An Analytical Comparison

The navigation of the site is also much easier than Facebook, however, a new user would find it little difficult to learn at the initial stage. Like all other Google programs, the users can directly check their mails, chat with their friends and access other Google sites at one instance. In short, to access the multiple functions of Google, one can just login to the any of the Google sites, say Gmail and the site directly connects to Google+. Where, in Facebook, a separate login is required.

Google is planning to make its new social networking site to be ad free, there will be virtually no adverts or banners which would be displayed in the website, something which the users would definitely like. Apart from this, the users would be able to upload the photographs much faster and with much higher resolution. The photos can also be uploaded from Android phones directly.

Google+ is the discovery of Google after years of research and hard work. It is definitely turning out to be one of the best social networking sites. Developments are still going on in this website, so that new and enhanced features would be added there with ease.
