Windows 8, the next generation operating system and its Release Preview is the latest buzz related to Windows OS and Microsoft corporation. Most of the people around are waiting for the final release but before that one can try the release preview version because its somewhat more stable and usable compared to betas.
No one can confirm the date but according to latest internet reports we can see Windows 8 release preview available for download to public by first week of June and most probably on 1st June itself. At present Microsoft should not face any problem to launch the latest Windows 8 preview version by Friday as Microsoft does not provide official support for the platform.
June 1st is a little over a week away which means we do not have to wait much longer to get our hands on Microsoft’s latest public build of Windows 8. Microsoft has updated the Mail, Calendar, People, and Messaging apps for the upcoming Release Preview (Release Candidate) of Windows 8. These apps are no longer considered “previews” as they were labeled as such in the Consumer Preview build of Windows 8. The Mail app in Windows 8 Release Preview will come with a teal-colored live tile, as well as with a redesigned interface that brings frequently used tools at hand. Attachments can be added easily, and the Notifications system is working. Microsoft has also revealed a new parental control feature that will be included in the upcoming build. Microsoft said that Windows 8 will now allow parents to monitor what their kids are doing online, no matter where they use their PCs.
Final version of Windows 8 is predicted to be released by the end of October 2012.
