All browsers allow you to set a homepage, a page that you like to visit more often than others. But with Google Chrome, you can set multiple websites – Google, Facebook, Yahoo and many others to open on browser startup. All websites would open up in different tabs of the same browser window.
To use the feature, user need to go to his browser settings, enter link of the favorite websites and complete the process by clicking ‘Ok’ button.
However, there is no limit of the number of websites to provide in the settings. But a safer option is to set a maximum of 2-3 websites. Otherwise the browser might hang while starting up. I presently have 3 websites.
Here are the stepwise guide to do this,
1. Click the wrench icon at the top and go to settings.
2. Next click on the ‘Set Pages’ options under ‘On Startup’
3. Now enter your favorite webpages and click ‘Ok’ to finish.
Now close the browser and restart it. You should see all websites starting up in multiple tabs.
This feature is currently exclusive to Google Chrome only.
