It’s a good news for HTML 5 developers who’ve got some serious HTML 5 skills under their belt. Facebook now encourages you to use HTML 5 for app development purposes.

For those of you who are yet strangers to HTML 5, I’d like to tell that HTML 5 is a World Wide Web Consortium(W3C) specification and HTML 5 is now supported on almost all latest versions of modem web browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Avant and Maxthon.

Facebook launched ‘HTML5 resource center’ on Tuesday, 18th October,2011. So, if you’re a HTML 5 developer you would love to check out the Facebook developers HTML 5 page.

As Facebook is by far the most successful social network out there so it gives developers an opportunity to reach the wider audience and gain some popularity by creating killer Facebook apps.
