VLC media player is a plethora of options. It runs almost all video and audio formats, allows enhancing of video and audio quality. It provide you the option to take snapshots of a running video, and has lots of other useful options.
One such great feature is the ease with which it allows you to cut a video and audio files.
Cutting a video using VLC player is easy and absolutely free of cost, thus saving your money on costly video cutters.
Here are the steps to do this,
- Play a video in VLC and goto View > Advanced Controls.
- This will bring 4-5 options below Time Toolbar. This includes an option to cut a video (and audio) between two time frames.
- Press the red button where you want to start cutting.
And press it again when you want to stop.
- The video between these time frames is now cropped and automatically saved to your Video folder in C drive.
